Drilling Fluid Shaker User Guide

Each solid-phase control system (solid-control system) must have sufficient drilling fluid vibrating screens to ensure 100% circulating treatment rate of drilling fluid. Refer to the drilling fluid shaker user guide when using it for proper installation, operation, and maintenance.

(12) Adjust the correct number of revolutions of the excitation motor.
(13) Adjust the correct vibration mode of the drilling fluid shaker.
(14) Adjust the position of fast excitation in the excitation motor according to the instruction manual.
(15) Install the vibrating screen properly.
(16) Prepare the flushing system to clean the vibrating screen. (17) If a water spray pipe is installed, the water must be sprayed out of the mist instead of the water stream.
2. Operation of drilling fluid vibrating screen (1) The upper layer of the double-layer drilling fluid vibrating screen uses coarse mesh screen cloth, and the lower layer uses fine mesh screen cloth. (5) Drilling fluids that have not passed through the solid control system must be screened with drilling fluid shaker before entering the circulation system, especially those drilling fluids transported from a distance.
(6) The drilling fluid of the reserve mud tank cannot be pumped directly into the circulation system without sedimentation. Those unprecipitated solid phases will cause blockage when entering the next-stage sand remover.
3. Maintenance of drilling fluid vibrating screen (1) In order to increase the service life of drilling fluid vibrating screen under tension-free conditions, each component of the screen tension device must be guaranteed, such as rubber support parts, nuts, bolts, springs, etc. Both are properly installed without distortion. Install the screen according to the installation steps in the instruction manual.
(2) In order to improve the service life of the pre-stretched screen, it is necessary to ensure that the rubber support parts of the screen are complete and free from damage.
(3) Lubricate and maintain the vibrating screen components according to the drilling fluid vibrating screen user manual (some parts are self-lubricating and do not need to be relubricated).
(4) For those screens without pre-stretching treatment, the screen tension test after 1 hour, 3 hours and 8 hours must be performed after installation.
(5) If only one layer of multi-layer drilling fluid vibrating screen is applied, ensure that other tension rods are safe and reliable.
(6) Clean the drilling fluid shaker screen before starting to prevent the drilling fluid from covering the dry screen. (7) Check the operating environment of the vibration isolation element and the supporting parts of the screen cloth. If damage or excessive fatigue occurs, it should be replaced in time.
(8) Check whether the drilling fluid bypass valve and other channels around the drilling fluid vibrating screen are leaking.
(9) Remove the residual drilling fluid accumulated on the vibration frame, vibration screen parts and vibration motor in time. Be careful not to wash the electrical system or vibration motor with oil or water.
(11) Ensure that no debris such as hoses and cables is stacked on the screen frame of the drilling fluid shaker.
4. Drilling fluid vibrating screen operation guide When drilling fluid is circulating, the drilling fluid vibrating screen must be used for continuous vibration. If the vibrating screen is not vibrating, the cuttings cannot be removed.
a. Drilling fluid must flow through most of the area of the screen cloth. If the drilling fluid can only cover a small area of the screen cloth, the number of screen meshes used is too large.
b. Holes on the screen cloth must be repaired or replaced. Holes on the flat screen can be blocked. Install the screen according to the installation procedure of the drilling fluid vibrating screen. When the drilling fluid flows through the holes in the screen cloth, the cuttings in the drilling fluid cannot be separated.
c. When changing the screen, the drilling fluid shaker must stop running.
d. Before starting to replace the screen, place the tools and prepare a new screen.
e. If possible, it is best to replace the screen when receiving a single piece. In some emergency situations, when the screen of the drilling fluid shaker is replaced, it may be necessary to stop the pump and stop drilling.
f. In order to improve the service life of the screen under no tension, it is necessary to ensure that each component of the screen tension system, such as rubber support, is properly installed without deformation.
g. Check the operating environment of the vibration isolation element of the vibrating screen. If damage or excessive fatigue occurs, it should be replaced in time.
h. Do not add water directly to the liquid storage tank or the screen of the drilling fluid shaker. Water can only be added to the next process.
i. Unless the circulation returns, the entire process must pass through the drilling fluid shaker, even if it is bypassed for a period of time.
j. Clean the screen before each start to prevent the drilling fluid from sticking to the dry screen cloth.
